ELKHART -- Hazel Marie Quinones of Elkhart passed away on Monday, May 10, 2010, at 5:30 p.m. at Golden Living Center in Elkhart. She was 85.

She was born July 22, 1924, in Lymon, Colo., to Charles C. and Grace M. (Martin) Rodibaugh. She then married Juvenal Quinones in Miami, Fla., in 1968. He passed away in 1997.

Surviving are her sister Dorothy Wyman of Elkhart; brother Charles (Ethel) Rodibaugh of Watertown, Mass.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her husband, sister Florence Cathcart and brothers David D., William W. and Roady R. Rodibaugh preceded her in death.

There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service at 1 p.m. today at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Dale Turner will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Street Cemetery.

Hazel was a homemaker most of her life but also worked a short while as a drapery folder at Needlecraft Industries in Elkhart. She also enjoyed reading in her spare time.

Memorials may be given to the United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
