Obituary
ELKHART — Harry E. Mills Jr., 76, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, Dec. 2, at his residence.
He was born April 11, 1940, in Elkhart, to Harry E and Doris J. (Smith) Mills.
Survivors include 2 brothers, Arthur Mills of Jones, Mich. and Joseph Mills of Osceola; 3 stepsisters, Lois Heinzerling, Lyn (Victor) Lapierre and Carol (Fred) Lapierre; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Carl Ward Mills.
Harry was employed at Travel Line Homes for several years and most recently spent time collecting cans from neighbors and doing lawn work for them in the summertime.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 6 p.m. celebration of life service Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
Pastor Gary Sheets will officiate.
