ELKHART — Harold Lee Hollar Jr., 50, of Elkhart, passed away after an extended illness Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1961, in Goshen to Harold Lee Hollar Sr. and Donna Mae (King) Jebbett.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Rebecca (Pace) Hollar of Elkhart; three sons, Spencer Youngblood, Curtis Hollar and adopted son Brandon Baker, all of Elkhart; daughter Sydney Youngblood of Elkhart; three brothers, John (Cherlynn) Hollar of Elkhart, Clarence (Katrina) Gregg of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Clifford Gregg of Washington; four sisters, Cindy (Les) Albertson, June Kuykendahl, Julie Ditzel and Jeannie Merritt, all of Olympia, Wash.; employer and special uncle, Roger King of Elkhart; and two granddaughters.
Harold was preceded in death by his father and his twin brother, Gerald Hollar.
Harold was employed as a superintendent, welder and pipe fitter with King Mechanical Contractors for 22 years. He attended Life Tabernacle Church. Harold enjoyed riding his V-MAX motorcycle and working.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the 2 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. The Rev. Mark Johnson of Life Tabernacle Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Milford Cemetery.
