Guy "Scooter Doug" Drum, 69, of Elkhart, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Woodland Manor.

Doug was born on November 2, 1952 to the late Hugh Drum and Wanda E. (Hetzer) Van De Mark in Toledo, IL.

Doug is survived by his stepfather, Paul Van De Mark of Barbourville, KY; sisters, Jackie (Dennis) Nichols and Sherry (Tony) Workman and brother, Arthur (Lisa) Van De Mark of Corbin, KY.

Doug was employed primarily at ADEC. He enjoyed riding his scooter around town giving him the nickname, "Scooter Doug". He was an avid fan of country music, collecting vinyl records of his favorite country artists. Doug also was a collector, particularly his Hot Wheel cars.

Doug couldn't say "No" and he would give the shirt off his own back.

A Graveside service for Doug will be held at a later date.
