ELKHART — Grace (Jones) Moore, 92, of Elkhart, passed away at 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, at Courtyard Health in Goshen, surrounded by her loving family.

Grace was born on Feb. 17, 1922, in Elkhart to the late John and Ruth (Johnson) Doncaster.

She married Murry Jones on April 26, 1948, in Elkhart. He passed Jan. 19, 1981.

She then married Rex Moore. He passed in 2002.

Surviving are her daughters, Marla Dixon of Elkhart and Colleen (Randy) Volker of Michigan; son Carl (Rena) Jones of Concord N.H.; three grandchildren, Jonathan (Kathy) Dixon, Michael (Victoria) Jones and Kristi Jones; great-grandson Camren Jones; a sister, Anna Mast of Elkhart; and her two brothers, Jay Doncaster of Elkhart and John Earl (Mary) Doncaster of Florida.

Grace worked as a bookkeeper for Indiana Trailer Supply and American Trailer Supply where she retired from in 1997. Grace was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Goshen.

Grace loved music and enjoyed square and tap dancing. She was also a member of the Rockerettes at the YMCA.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A vigil service will be prayed beginning at 4:30 p.m. Friends may also call for an hour prior to the 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger. The Rev. Bill Schooler will officiate. Burial will take place at a later date in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
