ELKHART -- Gordon Harold Bevans of Elkhart died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 10, 2008) in his home.

He was born in Los Angeles, Calif., and spent most of his life as a carpenter.

There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
