ELKHART — Glenna A. Becker, 81, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Greenleaf Health Campus in Elkhart.
She was born June 5, 1931, in Newton, Kan., to Cecil and Ima (Bertwell) Foster. On April 24, 1949, she married the late Floyd W. Becker in Newton. He preceded her in death on Jan. 18, 2010.
Survivors include two sons, Michael K. (Cathy) Becker of Jacksonville, Fla., and Paul W. Becker of Tulsa, Okla.; three daughters, Vicki L. Hanes of Elkhart, Connie (Glenn) Fuller of Parksville, Okla., and Julia (James) Williams of Norman, Okla.; two sisters, Eddy (Cliff Long) Beard of LaBelle, Fla., and Becky (Richard) Hege of Newton; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joy Craig.
Glenna was a loving homemaker and was employed at REAL Services in Elkhart prior to her retirement. She enjoyed cooking and baking, knitting, embroidery work and her days on the ranch with her husband. Her family will always remember the wonderful times spent with Glenna and Floyd during visits to the Panther Den Ranch in Oklahoma.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services and a memorial service will be held later this fall in Newton.
