She was born Jan. 25, 1945, in South Bend to Abner G. and Vivian (Weldy) Brown Sr.
She is survived by her mother, Vivian of Wakarusa; two sisters, Laveda (Lester) Bontrager of Wakarusa and Annabelle (Gary) Nisen of Goshen; and three brothers, Kermit (Rosanne) Brown of Elkhart, Norman Brown of Niles and Abner (Valerie) Brown Jr. of Wakarusa.
She was preceded in death by her father, Abner G. Brown Sr.; and one brother, Keith Brown.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Friday funeral service, all at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Vernard Guengerich of Holdeman Mennonite Church, Wakarusa, will officiate and burial will follow at Olive East Cemetery.
Ms. Brown was the office administrator at Land America Title Co. for four years and was in the title real estate business for 44 years. She was a 1963 graduate of Wakarusa High School and a member of the Elkhart Board of Realtors. She enjoyed gardening and animals.
