ELKHART -- Georgia Mae Williams, 79, of Elkhart, died at 12:15 a.m. Monday (April 13, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born May 6, 1929, in Potterville, Mich., to Conrad and Mary Jane (Sanborn) VonRicter.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by two husbands; three sons, Michael, Edward and Kerry Pugliese; one grandson, Justin Hiatt; one great-granddaughter, Cailee Moore; and one sister, Evelyn VonRicter.
She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline (Tim) Moore of Elkhart and Elizabeth "Liz" Raber of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Brent Pugliese of Elkhart and Kim Pugliese of Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, in the past she had worked as waitress and bartender at the Red Carpet Lounge and The Crystal Bar, and in production at Whitehall Laboratories. She was an avid reader and a shopaholic.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation will take place. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is assisting with arrangements.
