Obituary
ELKHART — George M. Moton, 73, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Riverside Village.
He was born on April 13, 1944 in Greenville, Mississippi, to the late Milton and Luana (Newsome) Moton.
He is survived by a son George M. Moton Jr.; one grandson; four sisters, Karaner Taylor, Linda Moton, Anne Malone, and Ellen Holliday; three brothers, Percy (Dorothy) Moton, Arnest Moton and Jimmy Moton.
He was preceded in death by son Mark Steven Moton and a sister Thelma Moton.
George formerly worked at Crosbie Foundry, and retired from Plumrose USA. He had been working at Big Lots until his health failed.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service for George will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home.
