Obituary
ELKHART — George L. Haskell, 63, of Elkhart, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital. He was born on Aug. 20, 1949, in Glendale, Calif., to the late George H. and Angela Haskell.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Haskell.
Surviving are his sister, Laura Bye of Castaic, Calif.; a brother, Danny (Mary) Haskell of Saugus, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
George formerly worked in quality control for Lippert Components and DuMore Water Specialist. He enjoyed hot rod cars and setting up hot rod car shows in and around the area. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and enjoyed all kinds of music.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place at Altera Cremation Services under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home.
