Obituary

ELKHART -- George W. Badiac, 72, of Elkhart, died Saturday morning (March 17, 2007) in Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Plymouth to William and Esther Fay (Jamison) Badiac. He married Claudine Yates on Sept. 9, 1976, in Granville, Ohio.

She survives along with two daughters, Bambi Badiac of Denver, Colo., and Robin (Jerry) Clancy of Newark, Ill.; two sons, Grant Nash of Benton Harbor, Mich., and Greg (Connie) Nash of Wakarusa; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a twin brother.

There will be no visitation and cremation will take place with memorial services at a later date. Burial will be later at Oak Hill Cemetery in Plymouth.

Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Badiac worked as a manufacturing engineer in the automotive industry for 40 years. He attended Purdue University and was formerly a member of the Masonic Lodge in Fort Wayne.
