BRISTOL: Mr. George Howard Anderson, 91, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, June 27, 2020 at his home with his love and wife Dorothy at his side. George was born on July 31, 1928 in Elkhart to the late Harry and Hertha (Milan) Anderson. In addition to his parents, two brothers John and Bob Anderson preceded him in death.

He married his true love Dorothy (Gibson) Carl, Dorothy survives, as well as several children, and grandchildren.

George worked as a meat packer for Wall Meat Packaging Co. He proudly served in the United Sates Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1950 until his honorable discharge in 1953.

George was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart. He loved to boat, but his most proud accomplishment was his love and marriage to Dorothy.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart. He will be buried at a later date in Olive West Cemetery, Elkhart.
