THREE RIVERS, Mich. -- George Warren Adams, 70, of First Street, died at 2 a.m. Monday (May 26, 2008) at home.
He was born Feb. 6, 1938, in Mason Township to Floyd and Helen (Kantz) Adams. On May 26, 1962, he married Marcella T. Zieler in Elkhart, Ind.
She survives along with one daughter, Debra S. "Deb" (Kurt) Skaggs of Constantine; two sons, Daniel F. (Jenny Brandon) Adams of Mottville and Donald J. Adams of Three Rivers; one grandson, Ryan C. Skaggs; and two sisters, Helen Furnas of North Manchester, Ind., and Frances (Robert) Mayer of Three Rivers.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
Mr. Adams was a finisher and metal worker for several RV manufacturers throughout the Michiana area for many years, but he retired from Day International in Three Rivers after 22 years in 2003. He loved hunting for mushrooms, fishing and spending time with his grandson, Ryan.
There will be no visitation or services. In accordance to his wishes, Mr. Adams has been cremated. Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, is handling arrangements.
