ELKHART — Genetta Hope Williams, 57, of Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. She was born May 31, 1954, in Milan, Tenn., to James and Willie E. (Brown) Barham.
On Oct. 27, 1972, she married Cleo Williams in Elkhart. He survives at home.
Other survivors include three children, Cleavon, Cletia and Phillip Williams, all of Elkhart; four brothers, Coy Brown, James, Dwayne and Terry Barham, all of Elkhart; four sisters, Janyth Tidwell, Ernestine Barham and Teresa Lewis, all of Elkhart, and Ellen Parks of Texas; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Genetta loved spending time with family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith.
A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the 2 p.m. memorial service held on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 25448 C.R. 22, Elkhart, IN 46517. Brother Clarence Warren will officiate.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
