Gary was a dedicated and hard-working man who worked tirelessly to provide for those he loved.  He worked at Skyline Corporation for 20 years.  After retiring from Skyline, his entrepreneurial spirit commenced as a Real Estate Appraiser.  He co-founded and operated Jackson Appraisal Company, Inc. for over 20 years, where he worked alongside his son, Tim, for 12 of those years.  In his early life he lived on a farm and enjoyed the hard work and labor he put into farming the family land.

In his spare time, Gary was an avid collector of John Deere diecast replica farm equipment and enjoyed watching sports, particularly auto racing.  Carrying on the family tradition, Gary was also a talented woodworker who made many creative pieces for his family and friends to enjoy.  Gary loved all animals, big and small, especially his cats.  Although Gary was reserved, he had a kind demeanor and was extremely grateful for all the help he received during the final days and years of his life.  The family would like to thank the loving group of professionals and nursing staff at Story Point Senior Living and Traditions Hospice for all they did to make Gary feel comfortable and loved.  He will be deeply missed by his loving family and many friends.
