ELKHART — Gary D. Hill, 46, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Nov. 30, 1966, in Elkhart to Samuel W. and Virginia D. (Norment) Hill.
On May 21, 2011, he married Sherry Lynn (Ashby) Hill. She survives him at home.
In addition to his wife and father, other survivors include two sisters, Vicki (William) Ayers and Judy Hill, both of Elkhart; mother-in-law Annie Ashby of Goshen; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Marla Ishmael.
Gary enjoyed playing drums, watching wrestling, listening to rock music and watching NASCAR, especially his favorite driver, Tony Stewart, No. 14.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services. Private services were Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
