CASSOPOLIS, Mich. -- Gail A. Enos, 65, of Cassopolis, passed away after a brief illness with cancer on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, at 10:15 a.m. in Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born Dec. 14, 1944, in Elkhart, Ind., to Wilson A. and Marguerite (Stout) Lynch. On Oct. 19, 1964, she married Ronald J. Enos in Bristol, Ind.
He survives along with her son, William "Chip" Enos of Elkhart; daughter Shelley Tice of Elkhart; brother Peter (Marjorie) Lynch of Spring Branch, Texas; four grandchildren, Jessica Brimhall, Kendal Jordan, Colton Enos and Austin Tice; and four great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents.
Gail was employed as a supervisor at Miles Laboratories for more than 30 years prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Bristol Lions Club and the Elkhart County Quilting Club. She was an avid collector of antique sewing machines. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden, knitting, needlepoint, sewing and especially enjoyed her dogs.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. A private graveside service will be in Grace Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Bristol Lions Club or the Humane Society of Elkhart

A graveside service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, at Grace Lawn Cemetery in Elkhart. Pastor Fred Stayton of Bristol United Methodist Church will officiate.
