Mrs. Gail Ann Bentley, 73, of Edwardsburg, MI, passed away peacefully following a brief illness at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2019 at 8:06 am.  She was born July 29, 1946 in Teaneck, NJ to the late William "Bill" and Mary Jane (Williams) Constant and later married A. "Mitch" Bentley in August of 1962 in Elkhart. He survives at home after 57 wonderful years together.

Other survivors include her sons Scott (Tammy) and Jeff (Danielle) Bentley; daughter Corinne (Charles) Streeter; brothers John and Bill Constant; sister Ellen (Ray) Ridenour; grandchildren Alicia (Jeremy) Rose, Tyler (Eva), Brad and Alley (Joshua McNeal) Bentley, Veronica Berey, Jessica Anderson and Victoria Hickey; great grandchildren Brandon and Dylan (Cassidy) Anderson, Ethan Davis, Adrian Taylor, Addison Berey, Jackson Rose, Leah Bentley, Liam, Collin and Ryan Hickey and Brody and Brantley McNeal, and a host of loving extended family and friends.

Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart will host Gail's celebration of life service on Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at 1:00 pm, with visitation beginning there at 12 noon. Pastor Bobby Musselman of The Church of God of Niles will officiate and burial will follow at Adamsville Cemetery near Edwardsburg.

Gail worked as an accountant for her husband's contracting business for many years, but was happiest being a mom, grandma and a homemaker. Her favorite spot was the front porch, where she could watch the birds and wildlife dart amongst her flowers and plants. She was also the quintessential "church lady", as she was a lifelong and active member of The Church of God of Niles, where she was able to serve her Lord as the choir leader and treasurer.
