Obituary
BRISTOL — Florence E. Williams, 86, of Bristol, passed away from natural causes at Elkhart General Hospital at 7:40 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22.
She was born in Revere, Mass., on June 30, 1928, to the late Ernest and Florence (Starr) Frederick.
She was preceded in death by her spouses, Alonzo Stewart, Stanley Herr and Kenneth Williams.
Surviving are her son, Stephen (Judith) Stewart, and her grandson, Stephen (Katie Feldman) Stewart, both of Elkhart; and her great-grandsons, Tyson and Stephen.
Florence worked as a nurse in Chicago before coming to Elkhart, where she continued her healthcare career at several area nursing facilities.
Services will be at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart, where viewing will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery in Elkhart.
