ELKHART — Felicia N. "Nikki"Durie, 26, of Elkhart, passed away of natural causes at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at home.

She was born in Elkhart on Oct. 29, 1985, to Ron D. and Barbara (Rowley) Laughman Smock. She married Jason L. Durie on Aug. 19, 2006, in Elkhart. He survives at home.

Also surviving are her son, Alex Durie at home; brothers Josh Reason, Ron (Jen) Laughman Jr., Justin and Cory Streeter, Anthony Smock and Jacob Makowski; her father, Ron D. (Mary Beth) Laughman; her mother, Barbara Smock; and a host of grandparents, aunts and uncles. All are from Elkhart.

Nikki was preceded in death by a sister, Felicia Reason.

Nikki was a homemaker.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Hillcrest United Methodist Church, 4206 E. Bristol St., Elkhart. Pastor Jim Fookes will officiate.

In accordance with family wishes, Nikki's body has been cremated.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to the church.
