ELKHART — Ezequiel Gomez Ramirez, 4, of Elkhart, passed away Friday, April 6, 2012, at 8:15 p.m., after being accidently struck by an automobile while playing.
He was born Feb. 27, 2008, in Mishawaka, to Eliut and Nancy (Gomez) Ramirez, who survive in Elkhart.
Also surviving are his brothers, Zachary, Eliut Javier and Andrei Ramirez, who reside at home, and his grandparents, Javier (Ofelia) Gomez and Clara Zamudio, all of Elkhart.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, from 5 to 8 p.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held there as well on Wednesday, April 11, at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Fr. Glenn Kohrman and Fr. Matthew Coonan will officiate with burial to follow at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Elkhart.
Ezequiel enjoyed spending time with his brothers, playing outdoors and watching and playing professional wrestling. He had attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
