She was born June 1, 1912, in Onaway, Mich., to Albert N. and Alice M. (Sullivan) Chapman. On May 15, 1932, in Pierceton, she married Harry E. Reiff. He preceded her in death in June of 1958.
She is survived by two sons, Joel Reiff of Shipshewana and Harry (Betty) Reiff of Marion; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 28 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Larry Reiff; two daughters, Sandra Smith and Carnalou Reiff; four sisters; and several brothers.
Friends may call one hour prior to the 11 a.m. Tuesday funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Carl Henry of the Northside Baptist Church, Elkhart, will officiate. A graveside committal service will take place at 2 p.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery in Pierceton following the service.
Mrs. Reiff was a homemaker until her husband's death in 1958, when she began working at Needle Craft in Elkhart. She remained there until her retirement in the late 1960s. She was a member of the Northside Baptist Church, the Christian Women's Club and the 4-H Club in Union.
