ELKHART -- Eupal McDonald, 69, of Elkhart, died at 6:20 a.m. Wednesday (May 27, 2009) in Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born Aug. 30, 1939, in Baldwyn, Miss., to Malcom P. and Hessie Pearl (Donahue) Hill.

Ms. McDonald is survived by two sons, Gary and Mike McDonald, both of Goshen; one daughter, Linda Ragsdale of Elkhart; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorcey Reese of Edwardsburg, Mich., Avenelle Hamblin of Batesville, Miss., and Bobbie Sue Musser of Grand Haven, Mich.; and one brother, Paul (Linda) Hill of Lawrence, Mich.

Five siblings preceded her in death.

Ms. McDonald was a homemaker who was interested in crocheting, painting and dancing. She loved animals, especially her poodles, and was a wonderful grandma.

A gathering of friends and family will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Cremation will follow the visitation.
