ELKHART -- Etta Ann WIlliams-Buie, 52, died at 9:33 a.m. Wednesday (May 12, 2010) at her home after a sudden illness.

She was born March 28, 1958, in Haiti, Mo., to Earlie and Betty (Higgins) Williams.

She is survived by her mother; two sons, Ronard H. Williams of Goshen and Kenneth S. Williams of Syracuse; six grandchildren; three brothers, Earlie Williams and Randall (Rita) Williams, both of Columbia, Mo., and Otis E. Williams of Elkhart; and three sisters, Francis Jackson of Mishawaka, Vernna (Pastor Dale) Monroe of South Bend and Joyce Williams of Mishawaka.

Her father preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker. She attended Hickman High School in Columbia, Mo., and attended Community Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, watching movies and keeping up with family and friends by computer.

Friends may call for one hour prior to the 7 p.m. Tuesday Celebration of Life memorial service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Dale Monroe will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
