Obituary
BRISTOL -- Esther E. Rinehart, 97, of Bristol, passed away Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Center in Milford.
She was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Elkhart to Harvey E. and LaVirga A. (Fields) Schalliol. On May 10, 1935, she married Raymond W. Rinehart. He passed away Jan. 29, 1986.
Surviving are her daughter, Shirley A. Gregg of Bristol; son Danny L. (Judy) Rinehart of Elkhart; brother Willis Schalliol of West Lafayette; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in Schallioldeath by a brother, Winfred ; son-in-law Loomis Gregg; and a grandson, Chuck Hauenstein.Esther was employed at Whitehall Laboratories for eight years. She and her husband were members of the Iron Horsemen Motorcycle Club of Goshen for several years. Esther enjoyed spending time cooking for her family and loved the Lord.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Chaplain Joe Emmerth of Southern Care Hospice will officiate. Interment will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
