Obituary
ELKHART — Ernie J. Rudolph, 82, of Elkhart, passed away following a sudden illness at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, July 18, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born in Escanaba, Mich., to the late Ernest T. and Susan (Sabin) Rudolph.
He is survived by his daughter, Maija L. (Edmund) Bowens of Goshen, three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No services have been scheduled at this time. In accordance with Ernie's wishes, cremation is to take place.
Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart has been assisting the family with arrangements.
Ernie was a regional sales representative for the Sherwin-Williams Company for over 30 years. From there, he went on to become an over-the-road truck driver for an assortment of local companies over the next 25 years.
He enjoyed reading, sharing a good joke and having a cup of coffee or breakfast with his friends.
Memorial donations can be given to the Elkhart Public Library.
