Ernestine Günther, 87, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 23, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. at Elkhart Meadows. Ernestine was born on January 7, 1035, in Munich, Germany to the late Ernst August Günther and Susanne (Kapegger) Günther. Ernestine is survived by a brother Heiner Günther, Germany, and her sister and best friend Christine S. Holley of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a brother Herbert and sister Trudy. Ernestine worked for over 27 years as a secretary in the medical records department at Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, retiring in 2001.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation was chosen at Altera Cremation services, under the care of Billings Funeral Home.
