ELKHART — Eric L. Winebrenner, 65, of Elkhart, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012, at Greenleaf Health Campus.
He was born April 25, 1947, to the late Clyde and Eileen M. (Fuss) Winebrenner in South Bend.
Eric is survived by a cousin Janice (John) VanMille of Granger; caregivers and longtime friends James and Iris Lightner of Elkhart; and close friends Jerry Tucker and Bob Navarro of Elkhart.
Eric, along with his parents, operated Jiffy Catering Co. in Elkhart for many years. He loved to fly and was a licensed pilot in his younger days. He was an avid gardener and animal lover and will be missed by his Doberman, Hondo.
Cremation will take place at Altera Cremation Services under the care and direction of Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart. Eric will be laid to rest with his parents in Little Pine Cemetery.
