ELKHART -- Eric D. Vyverman, 62, of Elkhart, died Saturday (Feb. 19, 2011) at home.
He was born Sept. 3, 1948, in Elkhart to Joseph A. and Margaret H. (Wolf) Vyverman. He married Susan Putz, who preceded him in death as well as his mother, Margaret.
Eric is survived by longtime companion Diane Graffis; sons Scott of Chicago and Jason of South Bend; daughter Jennifer of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and sisters Joanne (James) Phillips and Marianne (Martin) Grouvdahl of Elkhart.
Eric was a 1966 graduate of Elkhart High School and a 1970 graduate of Indiana University with a degree in accounting. He worked in sales for many years at Eby Ford, Lochmandy Motors and Domore Office Furniture. Eric loved gardening and spending time at the cabin on Bass Lake, Michigan.
There are no services or visitation. At his request, cremation has taken place. Billings Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be given to American Heart or Lung Association.
