ELKHART — Enid P. Thompson, 104, of Elkhart, passed away at 4:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at the Golden Living Center in Elkhart.
She was born in Wolcottville on May 23, 1907, to the late Herbert and Emma (Ritter) Cavanaugh. She married Robert Thompson on Dec. 1, 1928, in Elkhart. He passed away in 1981.
Enid spent most of her life as a homemaker.
Surviving are her children, John Thompson and Dixie Flynn of Elkhart and Deldee Therrien of Nappanee, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or service. In accordance with the family's wishes, cremation is to take place and burial of Enid's remains will take place at Woodland Cemetery in Wolcottville.
Billings Funeral Home has been assisting the family with arrangements.
