Obituary

Ms. Elviry Arlandis Holliday, 58, currently of Lawton, MI and formerly of Elkhart, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at home. She was born on August 27, 1966, in Elkhart, to the late Arlandis and Jacqueline Holliday.

Elviry is survived by her children, Marcedeze Brown, Mendez Holliday, and Martinez Miles; grandchildren, Indie and Jmya Holliday, and Khyleigh Jones; brothers, Aaron and Tony Holliday; sisters, Jessica Ellis, and Pauline Caviness; and a loving host of extended family, friends, and acquaintances.

Services for Elviry will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Billings Funeral Home of Elkhart with visitation from 2 to 3 PM and a homegoing service to immediately follow at 3 PM. In accordance with Elviry's wishes, cremation will follow the funeral service.

Elviry graduated from Central State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting. She was also a member of Unique Outreach Ministries in Elkhart for some years.

In her spare time, Elviry was a wonderful and passionate cook, known for her lasagna and meatloaf dishes. Most importantly, she adored spending time with family, partaking in many reunions and family trips that made lasting memories for years to come.

Elviry will best be remembered as a funny, intelligent, happy, and selfless soul who enjoyed sharing a laugh or two with loved ones. She, along with all the love and joy she shared, will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she touched throughout her life.
