Obituary
ELKHART — Elsie Mae Adams, 86, of Elkhart, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 13, at Riverside Village in Elkhart.
She was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Massillon, Ohio, to Earl D. and Mae Belle (Rueckert) Ziler.
Survivors include one daughter, Pam (Pat) Roling of Royse City, Texas; two sons, Mark (Luanne) Caskey of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Scott Caskey of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Alvin Adams; one brother, Delbert Ziler; and one grandson, Jonathan Caskey.
Elsie worked at Elkhart General Hospital for more than 37 years as a registered nurse prior to her retirement.
The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the noon Saturday, Aug. 16, funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastoral assistant Pamela Kling will officiate. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola.
