ELKHART — Ella Mae Peoples, 71, of Elkhart, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

Ella was born July 4, 1941, in Turrell, Ark., to the late James Thomas and Cleola (Brown) Robinson.

She was preceded in death by siblings Leroy Robinson and Sadie Pegues.

Surviving are husband James F. Peoples, whom she married May 12, 1984; children James T. (Annette) Peoples, Ella J. Peoples, Terry L. Peoples and Walter E. (Angie) Peoples, all of Elkhart; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and siblings Eddie L. (Tonya) Robinson, Willie and Jimmy F. Robinson, Theadore Robinson, Eddie L. Thomas, Leslie (William) Wall, Lelia D. Neely, Ollie M. Hurt, Delois Barnes, and Evelyn, Debra and Barbara Thomas.

Ella worked at Barger Packaging and for the Riblet family for 50 years.

She was a member of South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

A service celebrating Ella's life will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013, at South Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 25448 C.R. 22, Elkhart. Elder Clarence Warren will officiate.
