Elizabeth, lovingly known as "Lyshka" by family, graduated from Washington High School in South Bend. On January 22, 1943, Elizabeth married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" C. Robinson in Elkhart. Bob worked for Rollie Williams Paint Spot and Patterson's Night Club in Sturgis, MI. In his spare time, he was a singer and musician, playing the drums and saxophone for his own band. The jazz love songs he played made the love Elizabeth had for him and music blossom, becoming a treasure for many years to come.

After school and her marriage, Elizabeth worked as a cook at local restaurants. In her spare time, she enjoyed tending to her vegetable and flower gardens, birdwatching, spending time with her family, shopping at garage sales, and studying the Bible. Elizabeth also liked watching sports, her favorite teams being the Green Bay Packers and Notre Dame, along with listening to her beloved jazz love songs and worship hymns.

Elizabeth was a devout Christian who loved the Lord. She was a caring, kind, and gentle person, always attending to the needs of those around her. Her family was her world, especially Bob, who brought her so much joy. She will be dearly missed by those whose hearts she has touched throughout her life.
