ELKHART — Eli'Juwon Bre'Shaun "Baby Elmo" Baker, 2½ months, passed away at 6:33 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born to Sedrick Baker and Nysha Lewis of Elkhart.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents; his sister, Raniaha Newson, and his brother, K'Veon Lewis, both at home; grandparents Anna (Michael) Williams and Larry Norman of Elkhart and Sabrina (Sedrick) Baker of Chicago; great-grandmothers Eva Baker of East Chicago and Ollie Higgs of Chicago; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by great-grandparents Solomon L. Harris and Rosie Lewis.
A gathering of friends and family will take place at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012, at Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart. Eli'Juwon will then be taken to Rice Cemetery for a graveside service at 2 p.m. Monday Sept. 10, 2012. Pastor Jermaine Pulliam will officiate.
