Obituary
ELKHART — Elijah Anthony Lee Cassell, 2-month-old-infant son of Jasmain S. Johnson and Randy L. Cassell Sr. of Elkhart, passed away Monday, July 20, at Elkhart General Hospital following a sudden illness.
He was born in Elkhart May 14, 2015, and additional survivors include his brothers, Emanuel Johnson and Randy Cassell Jr.; grandparents Mamie Bates, Hazel J. Cassell, Addie Bates and Anthony Johnson; great-grandparents Clifford Jackson and Georgia Tiggs; great-great grandmother Mae Ruby Jackson; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceding him in death are grand and great-grandparents Michael Scott and Maggie Cassell.
Friends may call one hour prior to the noon Tuesday, July 28, funeral at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart. Burial will follow in the infant section at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart.
Elijah will be remembered for being a beautiful and happy baby who was born with a big smile on his face.
Memorial donations can be given to his family.
