SOUTH BEND — Eldon E. Senour, 86, of South Bend, passed to his rest on Friday, June 9, 2017 at his home, surrounded by love and family. He was born on May 23, 1931 in Mishawka to the late Warren and Thelma (DeSunesac) Senour. He married Sandra J. Linkous on May 25, 1991 in Owensboro, Ky. Sandra survives, as well as a daughter Diane Norris Ford, Step-daughters, Mitzi  (Robert) Gacki and Marti Brown; and 7 grandchildren.6 great grandchildren.  Eldon worked as a realtor and broker for over 32 years. He proudly serviced in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Eldon was a member of the American Legion, Rotary International, MLS, National and State Board of Realtors, Mid-America Property Management Association, St. Joseph Valley Builders Association, EAA #132 and Easter Seals. Eldon was a mechanic, pilot, and enjoyed aircraft, remodeling, furniture making. He ran a catering service and also did property management.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation was chosen. Graveside services for family and close friends will take place at 2:30 p.m.  Friday, June 23, 2017 in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend, IN. The U.S Marine Corps Funeral Honor Guard will render military honors. His family request memorials be made to Heartland Hospice. Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home, Elkhart.
