Edward Lewis Sliger, 64, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 in Elkhart. Edward was born on March 21, 1960 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania to Lewis E. Sliger and Donna Marie (Uveges) Romero. Surviving is his son Jason M. Gonzalez; mother Donna Romero, father Lewis (Marilyn) Sliger; brother Scott R. (Sandy) Sliger; sister Linda M. Phillips; sister Angela R. Price; his uncle Michael Sliger and a special friend Chrissy Hall.

Edward attended Elkhart Central High School. He formerly worked for Great Lakes Hybrids in Ovid, Michigan and most recently as a tree trimmer for Eager Beaver Tree Service. Ed was an avid fisherman, loved music, especially the Grateful Dead, where he went to many of their concerts. He also liked to bike ride and was a very giving and kind person.

Cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be planned in the near future.
