Edward LeCount Jr., 87, residing in Elkhart, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018 at his home. Edward was born on July 12, 1931 in Tama, Iowa to the late Edward and Violet (Hahn) LeCount Sr. It was while at Nappanee High School he met and later married Beverly J. Hahn on November 9, 1951 in Nappanee. She survives, as well as 2 sons, Dennis LeCount, Tim (Lynn) LeCount; 4 grandsons, US Army Capt. Kyle (Christine) LeCount, Neil LeCount, Matt (Kelly Deane) LeCount, Dustin Ritter and 7 great grandchildren Matthew and Stella LeCount, Mickey and Violet Ritter, Riley Deane, Kyden Dean-Nesbitt, Skyla Deane Nesbitt  and a sister Barb Riner.

Edward retired from Mid- City Supply Co. in Elkhart, where he worked as a warehouseman. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Per his wishes, cremation was chosen under the care of Billings Funeral Home.
