ELKHART -- Edna P. Plummer, 95, of 28762 Melody Lane, died at 5:45 p.m. Saturday (June 10, 2006) at home.

She was born Jan. 15, 1911, in Bristol, to Charles and Mary Ida (Bickel) Fisher. She married Fred Wayne Plummer on July 7, 1931. He died July 21, 1969.

She is survived by three daughters, Jacqueline (Merle) Neely of Osceola, and Lillian Mayer and Elaine Plaia, both of Elkhart; two sons, Gerald Plummer of Edwardsburg, Mich., and Lucille Earl of Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Beckett and Stella Detwiler; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call two hours prior to the 11:30 a.m. Wednesday service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Chaplain Joseph Emerson of Southern Care Hospice will officiate. Graveside services will take place at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Sand Ridge Cemetery, Bourbon.

Mrs. Plummer was a homemaker and enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading and soap operas. Along with her husband, she owned Fred's Lunch in Osceola in the 1950s.
