ELKHART -- Edna F. Cozort, 92, of Elkhart, died at 5:20 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, at Eastlake Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart of natural causes.

She was born June 16, 1918, in Salem, Ark., to Henry and Clara Stuart. She married Lowell Cozort. He died in 1964.

Surviving are a son, Gerald J. (Pamela) Cozort of Elkhart; grandchildren Christopher (Marisa) Cozort of San Jose, Calif., and Sara Cozort of Elkhart; and great-grandchildren Miles and Donovan Cozort of San Jose, Calif.

She was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Edna was a homemaker and a seamstress. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Private family visitation and services will be held, with burial at Highland Cemetery in South Bend. Sueann Vongunten will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart.
