ELKHART — Eda Taylor, 51, of Elkhart, passed away Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.
She was born July 26, 1961, in Chicago to Aurelio Sr. and Benita (Negron) Santiago. On July 2, 1983, she married Dannie P. Taylor in Elkhart.
In addition to her parents and husband, survivors include two daughters, Erika (Gerry) Mosqueda of Danbury, Texas, and Danielle Taylor of Edwardsburg, Mich.; two sisters, Esther (Bob) Kramer of Lake Wawasee and Neraida (Terry) Cochran of Elkhart; three brothers, Angelo (Michele) Santiago of Goshen, Aurelio Jr. (Lindy) Santiago of Middlebury and Gabriel (Gretchen) Santiago of Goshen; two grandsons, Aaden and Tyler Mosqueda, both of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews.
Eda was a loving homemaker and owned and operated a child day care center for many years.
She and her husband loved to entertain for family and friends and she enjoyed boating and taking care of her loving dogs.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to a 2 p.m. celebration of life service Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at 3 Cross Ministries, 25435 East C.R. 6, Elkhart.
