ELKHART — Easter Ruth Monroe, 68, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at her home in Woodland Manor Nursing Home.

Easter was born Sept. 1, 1949.

While at Woodland Manor, Easter made dear friends with anyone she walked by.

Her smile and personality got her the position to run her own Bunco nights and even made her Valentine's Day queen just days before her passing.

She is survived by her two children, Ruthann (Norm) Benoit and James (Lisa) Nixon; grandchildren Bryce, Dustin, Miranda, Trace, Haley and Brandon; and great-grandchildren Kaden, Haden, Gavin, Molly, Hope, Bryden and Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six of 14 siblings.

As per her wishes, no services are planned.

Arrangements are under the care of Billings Funeral Home.
