Obituary
ELKHART -- Earma Louise Brown, 61, of Elkhart, passed away at 3:10 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 10, 1949, in Tchula, Miss., to Nora Brown and Mary (Washington) Green.
In addition to her mother, survivors include six sisters, Bernice Brown of Elkhart, Lula Ross and Linda Brown, both of Chicago, Ill., Shirley Brown and Sandra Green, both of Tchula, and Gloria Turay of Mesquite, Texas; four brothers, Jeffery Brown of Lansing, Ill., Douglas and Terrell Green, both of Kennesaw, Ga., and Kenny Green of Tchula; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Formerly of Detroit, Mich., Earma recently relocated to Elkhart to be near her family.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, April 29, 2011, at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Bernice Brown, minister, will officiate the home-going service. Burial will follow in Little Pine Cemetery, Goshen.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice Care, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
