Obituary
EDWARDSBURG, Mich. -- Earl Walter Kane, 58, of Edwardsburg, was found dead Friday (July 25, 2008) at his residence.
He was born Feb. 10, 1950, in South Bend to Chester and Pearl (Willard) Kane.
He is survived by two sisters, Nellie Walsh of South Bend and Shirley (Dick) Brown of Mishawaka, and two brothers, Harold Kane of Elkhart and Leo (Karen) Kane of Alamogordo, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Louis, Carl and Dale Kane.
Mr. Kane worked at the former Miles Laboratories as an accountant for 35 years. A 1968 graduate of Jackson High School in South Bend, he attended a local business college.
He enjoyed gardening and working in his yard.
No visitation or services are planned. Cremation will take place.
Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
