Obituary
ELKHART — E. Bernadine Miller, 92, of Elkhart, passed away of natural causes at 1:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Elkhart Rehabilitation Center in Elkhart.
She was born in New Castle on Jan. 9, 1923, to the late Herbert and Zolua Youngs.
She later married Galen Miller, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by her son, Jerry (Mary Lou) Carman of Elkhart, and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service has been scheduled for at 11 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Osceola. A procession will be leaving at 10:45 a.m. from Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart.
Bernadine was clerk and bookkeeper at a downtown Elkhart furniture store for nearly 30 years. She attended Hillcrest United Methodist Church.
Memorial donations may be given to the Hospice Foundation.
