Obituary
ELKHART- Douglas M. "Doug" Cripe. 47, of Elkhart, passed away at his home on Thursday, November 3, 2011. He was born October 10, 1964 in Harvey, IL to Michael E. and Marlene K. (Kiser) Cripe.
On March 18, 2000 he married Marcy Ann (Qualls) Cripe in Elkhart and she survives.
Other survivors include 3 daughters, Katlyn (Eric) Ellsworth of Middlebury, Jordan N. Cripe and Breanna R. Qualls, both of Elkhart; son, Michael A. Cripe of Elkhart; 3 sisters, Cathy (Scott) Conrad, Chris Banks and Lori Cripe, all of Elkhart; father, Mike Cripe of Berwyn, IL; 2 grandchildren, Kyra and E.J. Ellsworth of Middlebury.
Doug was previously employed at several area automobile dealerships as a salesman and most recently worked at T K Steel Inc. He loved to spend time golfing, traveling, playing poker and spending time with his family.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the 1:00 P.M. funeral service on Monday, November 7, 2011 at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin Street, Elkhart. Pastor Tim Fisher of Crossroads Community Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Prairie Street Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in c/o Billings Funeral Home.
