GOSHEN — Dorothy L. Elliott, 84, of Goshen, passed away from natural causes at 5:47 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, at home.
She was born May 24, 1931, in Clinton Township, to the late Gerald and Agatha (Orn) Charlton.
She later married Rual "Bud" Elliott on Sept. 3, 1954, in Milford. He passed away in Elkhart in 1999.
Surviving are her daughters, Anna Elliott of Portage, Donna Mae (Thomas) Schneider of Goshen and Marilyn (Edward) Bellows of Elkhart; her son, Michael (Martha) Elliott of Elkhart; brother William Charlton of North Webster; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Her son, Mark Elliott; daughter Nellie Jane Voelkert; sister Geraldine Chupp; and brother Warren Charlton, all preceded her in death. Two grandchildren, Kim Ramer and Lester Kincaid III, also preceded her in death.
Dorothy' life will be celebrated with a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in Milford Cemetery in Milford. Mo Vincic of Elkhart will officiate.
Although Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life, she did spend some time as a nurse at Goshen General Hospital in her earlier years. She was a member of Zion Missionary Church and enjoyed camping, crocheting and spending time with her family and grandchildren.
