She was born Sept. 8, 1919, in Carrollton to Clarence and Ethel (Welch) Williard. On Jan. 19, 1938, in Plymouth, Ind., she married Donald Eaton. He died Oct. 30, 1983, in Elkhart.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon (Ronald) Dick of Edwardsburg and Judy Ward of Elkhart; one son, Tom L. (Marcia) Eaton of Elkhart; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Baird of Niles.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Monday funeral service, all at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St., Elkhart. Pastor Lee Campbell of New Hope United Methodist Church will officiate and burial with graveside services will be in Adamsville Cemetery.

Mrs. Eaton worked at Wilt's Grocery in the produce department in Elkhart and also worked as a waitress in the Edwardsburg area for many years. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working around her home and shopping. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
